Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Neumatics and the SoulMap consumer application, both operated by Fotis Dovas, sole proprietor, Greece.

Not a legal substitute. This is a first-version operator-drafted ToS. We will replace it with a lawyer-reviewed equivalent before scaled launch. For any specific contractual question, email lotus@neumatics.eu.

1. Acceptable use

You may use the service for personal, lawful, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Use the service to attempt to identify, deanonymise, or re-identify any other user.
  • Submit content that is illegal, harassing, infringing, or that contains malware.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the psychometric pipeline, the inference API, or any underlying model in a way that violates these terms or any applicable law.
  • Use the service in a way that imposes a disproportionate load on our infrastructure (rate limits apply on a per-account basis).

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

3. Your content

When you submit a response inside an Echo, you grant Neumatics a worldwide, royalty-free licence to process that response for the purposes described in our privacy policy — scoring, profile inference, and (with your explicit, separate, withdrawable consent) inclusion in aggregated marketplace samples or ML-training datasets.

You own your profile. You can export it, port it, or delete it at any time. We do not claim copyright in your raw responses.

4. Data ownership and royalties

Neumatics operates a user-owned data economy. When a buyer licenses a dataset that includes your consented contribution, a royalty payment is settled in XRP to the wallet address(es) you have created inside the app, weighted by your data-quality score and the consented demographic linkage. The platform takes a service fee on top. The full mechanic is described at /about/data-ethics.

Royalty payouts are denominated in XRP for cost efficiency. We do not issue tokens of our own; we route payment in an existing currency to your non-custodial wallet. We never have access to your private keys.

5. API terms

If you access the Neumatics Psychometric Inference API, your use is governed by an additional API Agreement (signed at on-boarding). Key invariants of that agreement:

  • No-train guarantee. Your API request data never trains shared models.
  • EU region pinning at Enterprise tier.
  • Rate limits and SLA per your plan.
  • No use for high-risk EU AI Act applications without prior written consent (hiring, clinical, educational assessment).

6. Service availability

We provide the service on an "as available" basis. We will use reasonable efforts to maintain uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access except where an Enterprise SLA is in place.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continued operation would create undue risk. You may terminate your account at any time, and the deletion cascades described in our privacy policy apply.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) €100 or (b) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable EU consumer law.

9. Disputes

These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Athens, Greece, subject to any mandatory EU consumer-protection forum rights you may have as a consumer in another EU member state.

10. Updates

We may revise these terms from time to time. We will post material changes here and notify account holders via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
